Description

A classic Amish-style dessert featuring a flaky pie crust filled with rich peanut butter cream pudding and topped with fluffy whipped cream, finished with a crumbly peanut butter topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened butter until crumbly; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  3. Fold half of the peanut butter crumbles into the pudding.
  4. Spread the pudding mixture evenly into the baked pie crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Spread whipped cream over the pudding layer.
  7. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter crumbles on top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
