Juicy and flavorful baked chicken meatballs made with simple seasonings, oven-baked until tender and golden, perfect for a healthy main dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, onion, milk, oregano, paprika, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and parsley.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
- Place meatballs on the prepared baking tray, spacing slightly apart.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
- Optionally broil for 2 minutes for extra browning.
- Remove from oven and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or dipping sauce.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
