Description

Juicy and flavorful baked chicken meatballs made with simple seasonings, oven-baked until tender and golden, perfect for a healthy main dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, onion, milk, oregano, paprika, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and parsley.
  3. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
  5. Place meatballs on the prepared baking tray, spacing slightly apart.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
  7. Optionally broil for 2 minutes for extra browning.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.
  • Serve with pasta, rice, or dipping sauce.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
