Description

A buttery, flaky croissant filled with seasoned grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh lettuce for a savory, satisfying sandwich perfect for lunch or a light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 large buttery croissants
  • 2 cups cooked grilled chicken breast, sliced or shredded
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves (romaine or green leaf)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling chicken)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breast with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest, then slice or shred.
  4. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Slice croissants in half horizontally.
  6. Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the inside of each croissant.
  7. Layer grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh lettuce onto the bottom half.
  8. Close with the top half of the croissant and serve immediately.
