Ingredients
- 4 large buttery croissants
- 2 cups cooked grilled chicken breast, sliced or shredded
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves (romaine or green leaf)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling chicken)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breast with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Grill the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest, then slice or shred.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Slice croissants in half horizontally.
- Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the inside of each croissant.
- Layer grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh lettuce onto the bottom half.
- Close with the top half of the croissant and serve immediately.
