Description
A fresh and crunchy cabbage salad tossed with a light, tangy dressing, perfect as a healthy side dish for everyday meals.
Ingredients
- 4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey or sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Add green cabbage, red cabbage, carrot, and green onions to a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture.
- Toss well until evenly coated.
- Let rest for 10–15 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.

- Add fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
