Rich and fudgy cheesecake brownies featuring a dense chocolate brownie base swirled with creamy vanilla cheesecake for the perfect decadent dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth; allow to cool slightly.
  3. Whisk in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Spoon cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.
  8. Use a knife to gently swirl the cheesecake into the brownie layer.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set but slightly fudgy in the center.
  10. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
