Description
Cheesecake Factory Shrimp Scampi-Style is a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender sautéed shrimp tossed in a garlic butter white wine sauce with fresh herbs and served over angel hair pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in red pepper flakes if using.
- Pour in white wine and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Add lemon juice and return shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat in sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently until well combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
- Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
- Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
