Description

Cheesecake Factory Shrimp Scampi-Style is a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender sautéed shrimp tossed in a garlic butter white wine sauce with fresh herbs and served over angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Pour in white wine and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
  8. Add lemon juice and return shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat in sauce.
  9. Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently until well combined.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
  • Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
