Description
A flaky buttery croissant filled with classic Caesar salad and topped with juicy grilled chicken breast for a rich and satisfying sandwich.
Ingredients
- 2 large croissants
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup croutons, lightly crushed
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice.
- In a bowl, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, croutons, and lemon juice if using.
- Slice croissants in half horizontally.
- Layer Caesar salad onto the bottom half of each croissant.
- Top with sliced grilled chicken breast.
- Cover with the top half of the croissant and serve immediately.
Notes
- Warm croissants slightly before assembling for extra flakiness.
- Add crispy bacon for extra flavor.
- Use freshly shaved Parmesan for best texture and taste.
