Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cookie or graham cracker pie crust
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold cream cheese mixture into the chocolate pudding.
- Spread chocolate cream layer evenly into the pie crust.
- Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the chocolate layer.
- Top with whipped topping and spread gently.
