Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cookie or graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Fold cream cheese mixture into the chocolate pudding.
  4. Spread chocolate cream layer evenly into the pie crust.
  5. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the chocolate layer.
  6. Top with whipped topping and spread gently.
