Description

A rich and creamy chocolate mousse made with cottage cheese, blended until smooth for a high-protein, lower-sugar dessert that tastes indulgent yet wholesome.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk (as needed for blending)
  • Dark chocolate shavings or berries for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Add cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, salt, and milk to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
  4. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for best texture.
