Description

A rich and savory garlic steak tortellini dish featuring tender seared steak bites tossed with cheese tortellini in a buttery garlic cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and sear until browned, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring well. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Cook tortellini according to package directions, then drain.
  7. Add tortellini and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the sauce.
  8. Simmer for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine before adding cream.
  • Use ribeye instead of sirloin for a richer steak option.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for more texture and nutrition.
