Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and sear until browned, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring well. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Cook tortellini according to package directions, then drain.
- Add tortellini and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Simmer for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine before adding cream.
- Use ribeye instead of sirloin for a richer steak option.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for more texture and nutrition.
