Description

Louisiana Voodoo Fries are crispy French fries tossed with bold Cajun seasoning and topped with melted cheese and creamy ranch drizzle, delivering spicy, savory Southern-inspired flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  3. Toss fries with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove fries from oven and sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Return to oven for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with green onions.
  9. Serve immediately.
