Description
Crispy pistachio-crusted Camembert bites baked until melty inside and finished with a sweet-tart raspberry honey glaze for an elegant appetizer or party snack.
Ingredients
- 8 oz (225 g) Camembert cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup raspberry preserves
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of pistachios and breadcrumbs into separate bowls.
- Dredge each Camembert cube in flour, then dip into egg, and coat well with the pistachio breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange coated cheese bites on the baking sheet and lightly spray with oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and just softened inside.
- Meanwhile, combine raspberry preserves, honey, and lemon juice in a small saucepan.
- Heat gently over low heat, stirring until smooth and slightly thinned.
- Remove Camembert bites from oven and drizzle with raspberry honey glaze.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Chill coated cheese bites for 15 minutes before baking to prevent excessive melting.
- Can also be shallow-fried for extra crispiness.
- Serve with toothpicks for easy entertaining.
