Description
Soft and chewy Pizza Hut–style cheese sticks topped with garlic butter and melted mozzarella, served warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- Marinara sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and vegetable oil, then mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth.
- Press dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Brush dough with melted butter.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Mix garlic powder, oregano, and parsley, then sprinkle over cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
- Slice into sticks and serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
- For extra cheesiness, add a blend of mozzarella and provolone.
- Do not overbake to keep the sticks soft.
- You can prepare the dough ahead and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
