Description
A fun and flavorful cold pasta salad inspired by classic pizza toppings, tossed with a zesty Italian dressing and perfect for potlucks or quick meals.
Ingredients
- 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup mozzarella pearls or cubed mozzarella
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (halal)
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain pasta and rinse under cold water to cool completely.
- Add cooled pasta to a large mixing bowl.
- Add cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, and red onion.
- Pour Italian dressing over the salad.
- Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Toss well until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Add cooked sausage or salami for extra protein.
- Best served chilled.
- Stir before serving to redistribute dressing.
