Description

Tender slow cooker meatballs simmered in a rich, flavorful sauce, perfect for an easy hands-off dinner or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic, onion, oregano, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
  5. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  7. Gently stir once halfway through cooking.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meat to keep meatballs tender.
  • Serve with pasta, rice, or as a sandwich filling.
  • Leftovers freeze well for up to 2 months.
