Description
Thick, juicy pork chops stuffed with a rich blend of three cheeses and smoky bacon, then seared and baked until perfectly tender and melty inside.
Ingredients
- 4 thick-cut boneless pork chops
- 6 slices smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut a deep pocket into the side of each pork chop, being careful not to cut through.
- In a bowl, mix bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic, and parsley.
- Stuff each pork chop generously with the cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Season both sides of the pork chops with smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Let pork rest before cutting to keep juices inside.
- Use thick-cut chops for easier stuffing.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
