Ingredients

  • 250 g (8 oz) pasta (shells or rotini)
  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef
  • 1 packet (30 g) taco seasoning
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and heavy cream, mixing well.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and cook until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve warm.

  • Use any short pasta like rotini, penne, or shells.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
