Ingredients
- 250 g (8 oz) pasta (shells or rotini)
- 500 g (1 lb) ground beef
- 1 packet (30 g) taco seasoning
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and heavy cream, mixing well.
- Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and cook until melted and creamy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use any short pasta like rotini, penne, or shells.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add toppings like diced tomatoes, cilantro, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of milk or pasta water.
