Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (8 slices) frozen garlic Texas toast
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup dill pickle slices, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake the garlic toast according to package directions until lightly crisp but not fully browned.
- Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Arrange the garlic toast slices in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spoon the cheeseburger mixture evenly over the toast.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with chopped pickles.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
