Description

Creamy and nostalgic banana pudding dessert cups layered with vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and crunchy cookies, topped with whipped cream for an easy no-bake treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together cold milk and vanilla pudding mix until thickened. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding to make it lighter and creamier.
  4. In serving cups, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture.
  5. Repeat layers until cups are filled.
  6. Top with remaining whipped cream.
  7. Crush extra wafers on top for garnish if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent mushiness.
  • Assemble shortly before serving to keep cookies from getting too soft.
  • You can substitute whipped topping for homemade whipped cream.
  • Add a drizzle of caramel for extra flavor.
