Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, paprika, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and mix gently.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

- Adjust the Cajun seasoning amount to control the spice level.
- You can add bell peppers or spinach for extra vegetables.
