Description
Crispy cauliflower buffalo wings baked to perfection and coated in a spicy, tangy buffalo sauce—an irresistible vegetarian alternative to classic wings.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water or milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, water (or milk), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make a batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, coating evenly.
- Place on the baking tray in a single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes until crispy.
- Remove from oven and toss florets in buffalo sauce.
- Return to oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes.
- Drizzle with olive oil and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dip.
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs after batter.
- Air fry at 200°C for 15–18 minutes as an alternative.
- Adjust spice level by choosing mild or hot buffalo sauce.
