Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, halved and flattened
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 sandwich buns or ciabatta rolls
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- Extra parmesan shavings for topping
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan cheese.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing.
- Toast sandwich buns lightly.
- Assemble sandwiches with crispy chicken, Caesar salad mixture, and extra parmesan shavings.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
