Ingredients

- 8 small flour or corn tortillas

- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (for sauce)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Whisk egg and water together in a separate bowl.
- Pat shrimp dry.
- Dip shrimp into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In a bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and lime juice to make the slaw.
- In another bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and hot sauce to create the lime sauce.
