Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook meatballs according to package directions or prepare homemade meatballs.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Slice sub rolls and lightly toast if desired.
- Place meatballs into the sub rolls.
- Spoon extra garlic parmesan sauce over the meatballs.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
