Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup spicy mayo or ranch dressing (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if needed.
  4. Stir in garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  5. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Pour the hot honey mixture into the skillet and stir until beef is coated and caramelized slightly.
  8. Assemble bowls with cooked rice as the base.
  9. Top with hot honey beef, shredded carrots, cucumber slices, and green onions.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with spicy mayo or ranch if desired.
  11. Serve warm.
