Ingredients

  • 250g steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season steak slices with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear steak for 1-2 minutes until browned. Remove from heat.
  4. In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, and parsley.
  5. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
  6. Place cheese and steak slices between bread slices with buttered sides facing outward.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Cook sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. Press gently with a spatula while cooking.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use thin steak slices for easier melting and bite texture.
  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning the bread.
  • Add caramelized onions for extra flavor.
  • Serve with soup or fries.
