Description

A delicious grilled chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich loaded with juicy chicken, smoky turkey ham, melted Swiss cheese, and creamy sauce on toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, butterflied or flattened
  • 4 slices turkey ham or beef ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns or ciabatta rolls
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  4. Top each chicken piece with turkey ham and Swiss cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Cover briefly to melt the cheese.
  6. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
  7. Toast sandwich buns lightly.
  8. Spread sauce on the buns.
  9. Assemble sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and the grilled chicken cordon bleu filling.
  10. Serve warm.
