Description

Ingredients
- 4 slices bread or sandwich rolls
- 4 slices turkey ham or beef ham
- 4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard to make the glaze.
- Spread butter on the outside of the bread slices.
- Layer ham and cheese between the bread slices.
- Spread a little honey mustard glaze inside the sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Press gently with a spatula to help melt the cheese.
- Remove from heat and brush extra honey mustard glaze over the top if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
