Chocolate Banana Oat Dessert is a wholesome baked treat made with ripe bananas, oats, and cocoa, creating a naturally sweet, soft, and chocolatey dessert that is simple and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add milk, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the rolled oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until set and slightly firm on top.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  9. Serve warm as is or with yogurt or extra banana slices.
