Description

Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Croissant Melts are flaky buttery croissants stuffed with melty cheese, savory pepperoni, pizza sauce, and finished with a spicy hot honey drizzle for an irresistible snack or meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, sliced in half
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place croissant halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Mix melted butter and minced garlic, then brush lightly over the croissant interiors.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly inside each croissant.
  5. Layer mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni inside the croissants.
  6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  7. Close croissants and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and croissants are crispy.
  8. In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  9. Drizzle hot honey over the warm croissant melts.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt.
  • Adjust hot sauce to control spice level.
  • Serve immediately while warm and flaky.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or peppers for extra pizza flavor.
  • Air frying also works well for extra crispiness.
