Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough or artisan bread
- 12 oz sliced roasted turkey breast
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked crispy
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup baby arugula (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer turkey breast evenly onto four slices of bread.
- Top with provolone cheese and crispy turkey bacon.
- Drizzle each sandwich with hot honey.
- Add arugula if using.
- Top with the remaining bread slices.
- Butter the outside of each sandwich lightly.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
