Description

A comforting and creamy loaded baked potato casserole packed with tender potatoes, cheese, and savory toppings, baked until golden and bubbly.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup beef bacon (halal), cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
  3. Mash potatoes with butter, milk, sour cream, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stir in half of the cheese and half of the beef bacon.
  5. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese and beef bacon.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of paprika.
  9. Serve warm.

  • Use halal-certified beef bacon.
  • Add cream cheese for extra richness.
  • Do not overmix potatoes to keep them fluffy.
