Quick lazy quesadillas are an easy, satisfying meal made with tortillas, melted cheese, and simple fillings, ready in minutes with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken, beans, or leftover meat (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the pan.
  3. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Add optional fillings like chicken, beans, peppers, or onions.
  5. Top with another tortilla or fold the tortilla in half.
  6. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from pan and slice into wedges.
  9. Serve warm.
