Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, beans, or leftover meat (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped onions (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
- Place one tortilla in the pan.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the tortilla.
- Add optional fillings like chicken, beans, peppers, or onions.
- Top with another tortilla or fold the tortilla in half.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
- Flip and cook the other side until cheese is melted.
- Remove from pan and slice into wedges.
- Serve warm.
