Description

Ingredients
- 500g broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
- Spread broccoli evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and crispy on the edges.
- In the last 5 minutes, add minced garlic to the pan and toss lightly.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest.
- Add parmesan cheese if using and toss to combine.
- Serve warm as a side dish.

- Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure crispiness.
- Add garlic later to prevent burning.
- Use fresh lemon for best flavor.
- Parmesan adds richness but can be omitted for a lighter dish.
