Description
A decadent dessert combining rich fudgy brownies with classic tiramisu flavors, layered with coffee-soaked goodness and creamy mascarpone topping.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee or espresso powder
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisk until combined.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Mix brewed coffee with espresso powder and lightly brush over cooled brownies.
- In a bowl, beat mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the mascarpone cream evenly over the brownies.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving and slice into squares.
Notes
- Do not overbake brownies to keep them fudgy.
- Use strong coffee for authentic tiramisu flavor.
- Chill well before cutting for clean slices.
- You can add a coffee liqueur substitute for extra flavor if desired.
