Description

A hearty turkey combo rice dish made with seasoned ground turkey, fluffy rice, and mixed vegetables—perfect for a quick, balanced, and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 400g ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  6. Stir in cooked rice and mix well.
  7. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  8. Stir-fry everything together for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

  • Use day-old rice for better texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.

  • You can substitute turkey with chicken or beef.
