Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 thick slices Texas toast or sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven broiler to high.
- Season steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Butter the bread slices lightly and toast until golden.
- Spoon creamy Cajun steak mixture evenly over each toast slice.
- Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
