Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 thick slices Texas toast or sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven broiler to high.
  2. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Butter the bread slices lightly and toast until golden.
  7. Spoon creamy Cajun steak mixture evenly over each toast slice.
  8. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
